Tesla FSD v14.3.13 Starts Rolling Out With Update 2026.38.5.10

Tesla has started rolling out software update 2026.38.5.10 with Tesla FSD v14.3.13 for AI4 (HW4) vehicles, about a week after FSD v14.3.12 began its wide release. The first installs are all in the U.S., and none had been recorded in Canada as of Tuesday morning.

Software trackers spotted the new build early on Tuesday, October 20 (around 3:50 a.m. ET). @teslascope and FSD Database both first logged it on a 2025 Model 3 in New York. By mid-morning Teslascope showed only a handful of installs, on Model 3 and Model Y cars, with refreshed Model S, Model Y and Cybertruck installs pending.

What’s new in Tesla FSD v14.3.13

The published release notes for v14.3.13 match the v14.3.12 notes line for line. That usually points to a maintenance release with fixes rather than new features. Tesla has not said what changed under the hood.

If you are coming from an older build, the notes include:

  • An upgraded reinforcement learning (RL) training stage and an upgraded vision encoder, for better handling of rare and low-visibility situations and more traffic signs.
  • An AI compiler and runtime rewritten with MLIR, which Tesla says brings 20% faster reaction time.
  • Better driver monitoring, including eye gaze tracking, eyewear handling and accuracy in changing light.
  • Actually Smart Summon top speed raised to 13 km/h (8 mph).
  • Intervention-free distance and your longest streak shown in the Self-Driving app.
  • “Upcoming improvements” listed by Tesla: expanding reasoning to all behaviours, and pothole avoidance.

Teslascope also lists Automatic Collision Evasion for AI4 cars on this build. The feature can engage FSD (Supervised) while you are driving manually if the car detects you are not paying enough attention to the road.

Which cars get it

FSD v14.3.13 is for AI4 (HW4) vehicles. The notes on Teslascope list Model 3, Model Y and Cybertruck, and a refreshed Model S is among the pending installs. According to Teslascope, HW3 Model 3 cars that receive 2026.38.5.10 stay on FSD v14.3 Lite rather than getting a new FSD version. One of the first recorded installs was on an HW3 car.

Is FSD v14.3.13 available in Canada?

Not yet. FSD (Supervised) is available in Canada, and Tesla’s notes for this branch are tagged for North America, but Teslascope had recorded installs only in the U.S. so far. Tesla stages its rollouts and has not shared a Canadian timeline. To check, go to Controls > Software in your car.

As always, FSD (Supervised) needs an attentive driver ready to take over at any moment.
