Tesla will report its third-quarter 2026 results after the market closes on Wednesday, October 21, and shareholders can now send in questions for the live call. The company confirmed the date in an investor advisory filed with the SEC.

Key times (Eastern)

  • Question deadline: Tuesday, October 20, at 4:00 p.m. ET.
  • Results: Wednesday, October 21, after market close, posted on ir.tesla.com.
  • Live Q&A webcast: Wednesday, October 21, at 5:30 p.m. ET (2:30 p.m. PT in B.C.). A replay is expected about two hours after the call.

How to ask a question

Questions are collected on the Say Technologies Q&A page, where Tesla “invites shareholders to ask and upvote questions.” Verified shareholders can post and vote, and votes are weighted by the number of shares behind them. @SawyerMerritt flagged the opening on X on October 14.

What shareholders want to know

Deliveries are already public, so the early questions are mostly about autonomy and robots. According to Drive Tesla Canada, top-voted questions at the time it published included:

  • How the Cybercab robotaxi fleet will grow beyond Austin, and the regulatory path outside Texas.
  • When customers can buy a Cybercab.
  • When unsupervised FSD will reach customer cars.
  • Optimus robot costs and when it will start earning revenue.
  • When HW3 owners will learn whether they can get a free hardware upgrade.

That HW3 question matters to plenty of Canadian owners. Tesla has said HW3 cars won’t support unsupervised FSD, and many 2019 to 2023 Model 3 and Model Y owners here paid for FSD. A clear upgrade timeline would be welcome news.

The call also comes right after tonight’s Roadster unveiling, so expect plenty of talk about new products. We’ll cover the highlights that matter to Canadian drivers.
